Aside from the many facilities available within the villa, Villa Batu Sari’s manager will have a wealth of information about nearby places of interest and will help arrange transport and make any bookings required.  Do also ask the staff about the local area.  Many of them live nearby and will be able to give an interesting insight into some of the fascinating aspects of Bali life.

ENTERTAINMENT

Bali Equestrian Centre
B.E.C is Bali’s first and only Equestrian Centre with internationally certified instructors. Conveniently located in the tourist district of Canggu, 10 minutes from Seminyak and 3 minutes from our famous surf beaches, surrounded by lush rice fields and local villages; it creates an idyllic environment for all your equestrian needs. Facilities will include a 25m x 65m covered arena, a 20m x 20m covered children’s arena, a 30m x 70m outdoor arena which can be used for competitions, lessons and dressage.

Canggu Club
Just 5 minute walk from Villa Batu Sari, the Canggu Club is Bali’s premier members club. Surfing – Berawa Beach
Berawa Beach is a beautiful beach with white sand stretch located within minutes from Villa Batu Sari andwith panoramic view to the Indian Ocean. This beach is the most enthused by the surfers because the great wave, powerful and challenge every surfer to conquer it and enjoy the surfing adventures. Berawa Beach is a beach as a tourist destination especially from domestic tourists to relax and enjoy the fresh nature with beautiful panorama surrounding area. In development of Berawa Beach nowadays, it has been many visited by tourists and become famous so much surfers want to challenge the wave for surfing adventures. Bali is synonymous with massages on the beach but the pivacy of this property is a wonderful way to indulge in such pleasures. Massages, body scrubs, body wraps, facials, manicures, pedicures and hair braiding are just some of the treatments you may like to enjoy. A therapist can visit Villa Batu Sari to provide spa services in the comfort of your home away from home. Please consult the massage menu and make your  request with a member of staff and they wil arrange. Milk and Madu – Milk & Madu is your local Berawa family cafe, for the best all day breakfast, superb lunches and signature revolver coffees to live for.

Crate Café – The best coffee in Berawa, great smoothie bowls and brunch all day long.

Peloton Super Shop – the new kid on the block. This cool vegan café sets the perfect mood, with cool décor and food that hits the spot!

Coffee n Oven – Authentic Bakery with homemade products – enjoy the best breads, pastries and cakes in Canggu.

W Retreat – Worth the visit, on Sundays between 12pm – 3:30pm, the Fire Restaurant transforms its ever-popular dining area into a bustling South-East Asian marketplace. The “Hawker House – Street Feast” sprawls stations featuring popular street food classics.

Woo Bar – Located in the newly finished W Retreat and Spa. Open daily from 11pm-11am

De Ja Vu – Has fantastic interior design playing great tunes. Nice place to hang in the afternoon or the early cocktail hour.

SHOPPING

Bali is known as a treasure house of interesting goods to buy. Products of various kinds from traditional antiques. To the latest quality fashions in extraordinary displays await the shoppers. It is quite common to bargain in markets, shops and art shops for buyers, so having a good price is partly depedent upon one’s smartness in bargaining. Splendid local hand woven materials, silver and gold works, woodcarvings, garments and many other interesting things can be found at any market, art shop or art market. International standard readymade apparels are quite inexpensive, while qualified tailors and dress makers offer reliable 24-hours services.

Bargainings forms a large part of the fun of shopping in bali. Remember to bring your cash, as not all places accept credit cards. Shopping hours are generally from 10am to 10pm.

You’ll find that shops selling similar items are generally grouped together. This makes comparing prices easy as you just have to go to the next shop to find the same thing!

The local markets are situated outside of the hotel premises. Take a stroll down in the afternoon and watch sunset at tanah lot temple.

Here is a quick guide for shopping :

Bali Galleria Kuta – A large Matahari Department store as well as a range of smaller shops such as Osh Kosh (very reasonable priced!), Kids Station (similar to Toys r US… prices also similar) – very comfortable place to spend a few hours shopping. Has a food hall too!

Kuta Square – Large Matahari as well many small shops selling as designer clothes such as Armani, Versace, DKNY. Great shoes can be found at the BATA and Buccheri stores.

Discovery Shopping Mall – A Centro and Sogo Department store and a large number of specialty shops. There are also a number of great restaurants and cafes. Including Starbucks, Coffee and Tea Leaf & Bread Talk.

Carrefour – For electrical goods, supermarket items and lost more at excellent prices. Located on  the main sunset road in kuta.

Seminyak Square – A newly completed shopping arcade with various stores and a good selection of restaurants, cafes and bakeries. There are also a number of up market clothing boutiques along jalan Lasmana.

Beach Walk – A new lifestyle playground at the heart of kuta with sophisticated retail stores, eateries and a premium cinema. Located on Jalan Pantai Kuta.
